Join us on the MV Explorer as we take off from Circular Quay, past the Opera House and countless other landmarks before arriving at the Sydney Heads. Once we've located a humpback or two, the crew will provide live commentary about the whales, their behaviours, the Southern migration and more.
This year, we expect the largest migration yet, with around 40,000 humpback whales estimated to make the trip south and return again—a truly remarkable feat considering that these magnificent creatures were nearing extinction just 40 years ago.
